TRADING IS NOW CLOSED UNTIL AFTER THE WORLD SERIES. The website will be updated each day Monday through Friday with the new team stats and standings. The Statistics Last Updated line above will be updated to tell you when stats have been uploaded. Scores for the day will appear in the Today's Results menu item, and then will be replaced each day with new information. To view boxscores (or prior results), click on AL or NL Results/Boxscores and pick the game you want. Remember that you can view all reports related to your team on your team page - now including your team's game results, boxscores, and schedule.

Other than the Friday league file update email, I will try to keep leaguewide emails to a minimum and keep all communication/updates on the website.

  • Roster Moves and Manager Profiles (MPs)

In the RTBL we're going to allow roster changes any day rather than only allowing it on weekends like in the BIBL (just a clarification for those in both leagues). To keep confusion to a minimum, if you make a roster move, please send me an email describing the change and attach a new copy of the Excel spreadsheet for your team if you are making multiple or complicated moves. For example, if you are promoting Jack Guy to your active roster and demoting Joe Schmo to the reserve in his place, I just need an e-mail to that effect, not a full blown spreadsheet. If you make a trade however, you MUST send a new Excel spreadsheet with your full roster information including actives and reserve rosters (see MP explanation below). This will eliminate the need for new league files to be sent out every time there is a change, which will fill up your mailboxes fast. Instead, I will only send new league files each Friday after the simulations are done for the week. Remember that I must receive any roster changes by 7 PM EST for your moves to be used in the next day's sim.

An MP contains a team's 40 man roster divided into 25 active and 15 inactive players, 5 man rotation, bullpen roles, lineups vs LHP/RHP (for AL teams, with use DH on, for NL teams without), depth chart, and manager tendencies. There are 2 ways to send me your MP:

Through DMB using the View...Roster menu items, then the tabs on the Team Roster page. You can then export it to an MP file using the Transfer...Export Statistics menu option (notice that the resulting window is called Manager Profiles). Select your team, then click the Next button on each page until you are asked to save the file. Save the file using the form team name-mp (for example, wolves-mp). Email the resulting file to me (it will be saved in the Export directory under your RTBL 2006 directory, or equivalent).

If you do not/cannot send an MP file, please use the Excel spreadhsheet emailed out by the Commissioner (thanks to Dan and Russell for providing the file).
